Manifesto

A little summary of what I believe in and my healing principles. I reserve the right to update as my growth reveals new lessons to me.

I believe in unconditional love and conditional relationships.
I believe in empowering myself and others to not be victims of our circumstances.
I believe there are no accidents or coincidences, EVERYTHING happens for a reason.
I believe there are no wrong decisions or results, everything can turn out beautifully if I let go of my expectations that it look or feel a certain way.
I believe in chocolate.
I believe everyone is worthy of love and happiness.
I believe relationships are spiritual partnerships built for our mutual growth, and intended as a playground for our desires, fun, learning, and loving.
I believe white privilege exists, and it is my responsibility to be aware of my privilege, keep from harming others, and dismantle the systems that keep it in place. This is an ongoing process.

I believe in abundance for all.
I believe in creating my own reality.
I believe in quantum physics.
I believe in energy and magic.
I believe there are some things we can’t manifest no matter how hard we try and it is part of our plan to be here on earth.
I believe in the Divine Laws of the Universe of which Law of Attraction is one of many.
I believe some events are pre-destiny and we can’t avoid them because they are a part of our divine story and karma.
I believe we are responsible for our own healing.
I believe that being an empath is a blessing and a curse.
I believe we are all born empaths, some retain it, some don’t.

I believe we all have psychic abilities. Empaths are just more attuned to the psychic frequencies.
I believe my soul – higher self – is eternal.
I believe my mind and heart gets me in trouble sometimes, but my Spirit can be trusted.
I believe happiness is a choice.
I believe in expressing my emotions in order to clear them out of my body.
I believe that if I don’t express my emotions they become my prison.
I believe that illness and dis-ease stems from unprocessed or repressed emotions.
I believe that there are some people I just click with, and these are people with whom I have experienced many lifetimes.

I believe everyone would benefit from therapy or self-examination and neither means we are broken or defective.
I believe in B.I.G. – having the Boundaries I need that let me stay in my Integrity so I can be Generous, thank you Brene Brown.
I believe a spiritual life is one of personal development, ownership of our story, and commitment to the larger community.
I believe that while everyone could live a spiritual life, not everyone will choose one.
I believe animals, particularly cats, help me be a better human.
I believe death is not the end of us and should be celebrated.
I believe if I can stay present in the moment, nothing is impossible and maintaining happiness is easier.
I believe I must keep trying to stay in the present even though it is quite difficult to do.
I believe children are the real teachers.

I believe in treating others as I want to be treated.
I believe the Earth is a school designed to teach us what we have asked to learn.
I believe our family of origin, no matter how wonderful or awful, provides for us the most lessons from which to learn and grow.
I believe that heaven and hell are only constructs of our mind and we are living one or the other right here, right now, and we have the power to choose which one.
I believe this world and its structures are inherently unequal. Access to resources, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healthcare, is limited to those with time and money to access those resources.
I believe joy and freedom come once we stop reacting to our fears.
I believe there is nothing more valuable in our culture than a strong sense of self.

I believe in democracy.
I believe in the rule of law.
I believe in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
I believe in loving curiosity towards other belief systems and life choices.
I believe and trust that people know what is best for them and the best way for me to love them is to support their choices.
I believe music is the fastest cure for what ails me. It moves my soul and shakes loose stale energy.
I believe laughing is an underrated form of therapy.
I believe the ocean can silence my mind, fill my senses with peace, ground my energy, and settle my tumultuous emotions.
I believe each of us is on our own path or journey. Some feel similar to mine and other are vastly different, all are correct.
I believe in change and growth, and in that regard, this list will be updated and revised as new experiences open new doors and lessons.
