Unraveling: Sensitives, Empaths & Chronic Illness
December 3, 2019 5:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Are you someone who is sensitive to the world around you (people, animals, plants, objects)? Have you struggled with how to manage those sensitivities and at times just tried to shut them down out of a sense of feeling overwhelmed?
What if your struggle with your sensitivities and your challenges with managing them was actually making you sick? It could be causing aches and pains, low energy, fatigue, or even chronic illness.
In this talk, practitioners Lyn Delmastro-Thomson and Laura Rowe will communicate the connections they have found between being a highly sensitive person or empath and a host of hidden illnesses. They will be sharing more about:
- What it means to be an empath
- How being an empath could contribute to making you sick
- Case studies of what we’ve both seen in our practices around the connection between being an empath and chronic illness (especially autoimmune diseases)
- Simple tools that you can use to begin to feel more in control of your sensitivities
