Mindful Success

Mindful Monday 3/12/18

“Be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others & wishing to be something you aren’t. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses, and it is only when you accept, everything you are and everything you aren’t that you will truly succeed in life.” ~ Ritu Ghatourey

Success is an elusive taskmaster. By and large, defined by our families and cultural norms. Don’t use this norm like a stick and beat yourself up. Define success for yourself. Use mindfulness to map out strategies, habits, and intermediate goals. Be sure to celebrate and reward yourself as you reach milestones. Let your vision and accomplishments drown out the peanut gallery. Let go of comparing your path and goals to anyone else’s, including the ubiquitous “they”. Trust yourself and honor your dreams, needs, and path. We all hold an inner genius, nurture it to the surface. Allow it to infuse your life.

Mindful Success means success on your terms–purpose, passion, comfort in your own skin, and peace in your heart.
