“Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”… what an audacious declaration for the time it was written. Even now, this is a daring statement. We hear it when it is spoken, accept it as the basis of our great nation, but how many really listen to these words, feel them in their bodies and souls, and participate in life from this beautiful and outrageous belief. The freedom to make happiness our pursuit. Are you pursuing happiness? What makes you happy? What makes you feel free? Start your own mindful revolution, pursue your happiness no matter what it takes and where it leads you. Trust the guidance of your heart and affirm that happiness is indeed our greatest pursuit and our unalienable RIGHT. Don’t let anyone define happiness for you, explore the world until you determine what it looks like for yourself. Then let nothing stop you from your pursuit, for nothing and no one that will stop you is worthy of you.
