“The way you speak to others can offer them joy, happiness, self-confidence, hope, trust, and enlightenment. Mindful speaking is a deep practice.” ~ Nhat Hanh
The way we communicate with our loved ones is a part of the legacy that we leave behind. Warren Wiersbe said ‘truth without love is brutality, and love without truth is hypocrisy,’ and both degrade intimacy. Word have energy and how we use them either amplifies that energy or dissipates it. Mindful speaking is about developing a style of communication that supports understanding and respect. It seeks to bridge our differences and misunderstandings so that we can deepen our connection to one another. It is not about score keeping or winning and it is not about pretending everything is fine if it isn’t. It is about self-expression and curiosity about the inner workings of the people in our lives.

Laura Rowe is an intuitive energy healer. Living in Portland, Oregon, Laura founded The Vital Spirit, an entity that seeks to be an instrument in the ongoing shift in human consciousness. Laura works with adults who identify as highly sensitive persons or empaths and were the children of abusive/neglectful/narcissistic parents. I help these individuals clear energetic blocks, release limiting beliefs, thrive in their business/careers and navigate interpersonal relationships so they can live life to the fullest.
