What we watch, read, and take in has an effect on our hearts and spirit. Programmers know that GIGO means garbage in, garbage out. We simply can’t feel good if all we consume is negative and designed to create fear. Mindful input is being conscious of the information we take into our consciousness. The news, for example, would lead us to believe that only terrible and sensationally horrific events happen. If happiness is on your agenda limit the amount of negativity and fear you consume through different types of media, including television, radio, movies, social media and print news.
Instead, decide how you want to feel and seek out those outlets that create that feeling in you. Then see how your life changes.
